Aluminium Sheet or Honeycomb Panel: What to Include in Your Enquiry
Veneered aluminium sheet and veneered aluminium honeycomb panels are different constructions. See what to include in your enquiry so we can check the right construction for you.

Start by identifying the required panel construction. A veneered aluminium sheet and an aluminium honeycomb panel are different product forms, and a similar-looking wood veneer face does not make them interchangeable.
Two Different Constructions
Veneered aluminium sheet is natural wood veneer bonded to an aluminium sheet substrate. The supplier catalogue describes a build-up of aluminium sheet, primer, adhesive, natural wood veneer and a PU coating, with formed and curved sheet examples for interior decorative work.
A veneered honeycomb panel combines a natural wood veneer face with an aluminium honeycomb construction: aluminium face and back sheets around an aluminium honeycomb core, bonded with adhesive layers. Catalogue samples show panel sections, corner details and a hook-on detail.
Why the Construction Matters for Your Enquiry
The two forms are quoted, fabricated and fixed in different ways. Sheet parts are defined by the part drawing, including bends, returns and curves. Honeycomb panels are defined by panel dimensions, build-up, edges and the fixing arrangement. Sending information for the wrong construction slows down the quotation.
What to Send for a Sheet Enquiry
Part drawing with face dimensions and units. Bends, returns, curves and openings. The faces and edges that need veneer. Approximate quantity and a veneer or colour reference.
What to Send for a Honeycomb Panel Enquiry
Panel width, height and quantity with units. Any requested thickness or backing. Exposed edges, returns and corner details. The intended fixing arrangement and where the panel will be used.
Not Sure Which Construction Fits?
Send the drawing or sketch with the application described in your own words. We check the proposed construction and the available options with our manufacturing partner before anything is quoted.
You can compare the two forms on the veneered aluminium sheets page and the honeycomb panels page of this website, then send your drawing through the contact page to start an enquiry.
